Yesterday, Sean O'Rourke on RTE Radio 1 ended up on the receiving end of a fairly harmless prank when he read out a text about Barry White.
Not THE Barry White, of course, but Justice Barry White, who was on the show to chat to O'Rourke in the morning yesterday. Obviously, he's aware (we're assuming) of the many jokes that can be made about White's name, but someone decided to tweet in the lyrics to a popular Fun Lovin' Criminals song, and it slipped through the net.
Sean read out the text, thinking it was legit, but we all know now that there were plenty of laughs had up and down the country. No one was harmed, of course, but Jim Sheridan did what any sensible person with access to audio editing material would do, and decided to do the mashup of the song and the reading of the lyrics.
Jim, we salute you.
