Remember Amanda Bynes? She was the cute yet annoying kid on all those God awful Nickelodeon shows - especially The Amanda Show - who grew up, got herself a tit job and, like many of her peers, developed an affinity for getting into trouble with the po-po.
The 26 year old 'actress' (for want of a better term) was charged last week by the LA City Attorney with not one but two hit and run charges and was previously arrested back in April for a DUI after colliding a parked police car. Anyhoo, Lindsay Lohan isn't a bit happy; she's not about to have some new young thang steal her thunder (and her column inches) for pulling the same crap without having to do the jail time. There's only room for one washed up, tangoed child star in this town, y'see. As reported by Radar Online, Lohan took to twitter to share her thoughts: "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?... These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all*"
She's great for the moral support is our Lindsay.
Meanwhile, Bynes' family are worried about her welfare. Apparently, she's just "not in touch with reality" anymore. "Amanda is refusing to go to rehab or seek any form of psychiatric treatment or diagnosis, because it's clear something is up with her," said a close pal to Radar. "She has been told by her agent and her dad Rick that she has substance abuse issues and needs to get help. She's a lost little girl right now."
Sure puts you off sending your kid into acting at such a young age, doesn't it? Few make the transition into adulthood with ease.
