Hamilton star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda clearly has a way with a dramatic telling of a story, and he put it to good use on Twitter yesterday.
Miranda shared the 'Easter miracle' that took place in his house, and as you might expect, those five lines came across like something in a renaissance painting:
My dog pulled my sister’s parakeet out of the sky with her teeth
my nephew screamed so loud we were able to intervene before she ate him
Pepito the bird is shook but unharmed
Tobillo narrowly avoids being damned for all time
That was our Easter miracle

Of course, his story also inspired other people to share their own 'Easter miracles'...

My so jumped over a fence, but didn't. Broke both bones in his left arm. But the ER was empty when we got there, and an orthopedic surgeon was there within 45 minutes. That was our Easter miracle!

My dad set a newspaper ablaze while reading it by a candle and, without a word, took it outside like a stoic Statue of Liberty
We all turned at the last second to see him taking his torch out the door like it was nothing— Hillary Smith (@HillarySmith_) April 2, 2018
In keeping with the animal theme, we rescued a kitty that was living on our front porch for a few days, and returned it to its human family! (Thanks to its microchip!) #EasterMiracle pic.twitter.com/JcfzuiLU8Y

I managed to get through all of Easter dinner without my dad making some kind of “why don’t you have a boyfriend yet” comment...small victories ðŸ˜'

Same. I was almost electrocuted early Easter morning by my hair dryer (thank God for GFCI, but I had blackened thumb and fingers) then my dad vomited and passed out during family gathering. 2 ambulances and a police truck came over an he went to ER. You know, normal family day.
