It's been on the shelves for 48 years and was a staple of many people's childhoods (and let's face, it adulthoods, too) - but Lilt is no more.
The 'totally tropical' drink famously delivered by the 'Lilt Man' is being pulled after almost half a century, and will be replaced by a new similarly-flavoured Fanta drink - 'Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit'.
Lilt is sold only in the UK, Ireland, Gibraltar and the Seychelles - which is quite the niche market.
Given the soft drink's longevity, many people on taking to Twitter to vent their disappointment (as well as panicking about what they're going to do the next time they have a hangover.)
Will 'Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit' taste quite the same? Will its advertising jingle roll off the tongue in a similarly effortless manner?
