After a brief exercise in trying to raise someone's profile (Leona was probably told it was to raise Liam's profile, and vice versa), both Liam Payne and Leona Lewis are now both suddenly back with their respective dancer partners.
The One Direction star split from long-term lover Danielle Peazer, 24, in September and although he was recently "dating" Lewis, it seems as though the couple are officially back on after Danielle jetted off to New York City to see Liam et al in action at Madison Square Garden.
Danielle flew to 'The Big Apple' with Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend Elizabeth Calder ahead of One Direction's big sold out gig tonight (03.12.12), and was spotted having a heart-to-heart with Elizabeth over coffee at a Starbucks yesterday.
Liam and dancer Danielle decided to call time on their romance because his increasingly hectic schedule made it difficult for them to spend time together but are now determined to make it work. I wonder if she likes the new beefier model.
A source told The Sun: "Most of the trouble was down to not being able to spend enough time together. They really miss each other. Danielle had already planned to go to New York for the concert before they split and Liam didn't want her to pull out."
And - as luck would have it - 27-year-old Leona has indeed moved on(ish) from her very brief flirtation with 19-year-old Liam, and has decided to get back together with her ex-boyfriend, Dennis Jauch. He's also a dancer.
All we need now is for Dennis and Danielle to get together for some kind of x rated rumba and we'll have come full circle. But the likelihood of that happening is minimal.
