Liam Gallagher's female aide has been fired after getting 'too close' to the singer, as the former Oasis frontman attempts to get his life in some sort of order following the news of his recently discovered love child.
Debbie Gwyther had been comforting the Beady Eye frontman in Ibiza as the news broke he has fathered a love child with US journalist Liza Ghorbani, leaving his five-year marriage to Nicole Appleton in tatters. A source at Quest management, who look after Liam, told The Sun: 'Liam and Debbie have become too close for comfort for management. It doesn't look good for them if there appears to be flirting between an employee and their star. She has left -- but not on her own terms.'
Debbie was seen lounging in a bikini by a pool with Liam on the day the news of his daughter with Liza broke. They drank cocktails and shots throughout the day and even shared a bottle of sun cream. Liam was on the Spanish island to perform with Beady Eye.
Nicole is currently with her family, believed to be in the US. Sources claimed yesterday the married couple have not had any contact since Liam rang to admit he had fathered seven-month-old Gemma with Liza. Nicole's father Ken Appleton said: 'I don't know whether she wants to fight to save her marriage or not. I have been speaking to Nicole every day since this broke. She is shocked and upset. She is with family at the moment recovering -- but even I do not know where she is.'
Liam and Nicole have a 12-year-old son together called Gene, and Liam also has another son, Lennon, 13, with his first wife Patsy Kensit, and a daughter, Molly, 15 with model Lisa Moorish. Those kids should probably set up their own band called 'Daddy Issues' and ride out their inherited fame while they can.
