Whatever you do, don't say you're worried about Amanda Bynes, because former N*Sync star Lance Bass gave that a try, and it certainly didn't end well.

Bass has been BFFs with the former child star since he produced her 2005 film Love Wrecked, so it was no surprise that he ended up talking about her, err, situation, on Las Vegas radio's Mark and Mercedes show. "No one is able to get to her. I'm actually really scared for her, and I hope someone is able to get to her to give her the help she needs" he said."It's one of those situations where obviously there's some mental problems there and she's not able to see that. We all are [able to see it]."

Within hours of his interview Amanda (who was arrested and charged with evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession in court last week) was on twitter, doing what she does best. "I ignored Lance Bass on twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness. Sorry you're an ugly ex boy band member w/ no talent or career (sic)." she tweeted.

And if rumours are to be believed, Lance ain't the only one feeling the brunt of Amanda's err, issues. As per The New York Post (which we tend to take with a pinch of salt, but however) her neighbours say sharing an apartment block with her is "like living with Linda Blair in The Exorcist".

"She stares you out in the elevator. Residents are terrified to be alone with her. She knocked on one woman's door, and when it opened, she screamed 'You're ugly,' and ran away. Amanda always seems to be alone, muttering to herself and looking completely out of it", one resident told the newspaper.

We're not quite sure who to believe when it comes to this one, but regardless of all the strories and rumours circulating, we seriously hope Amanda gets the help she needs soon.
