After a week of rumours, made worse by the fact that he kind of walked himself into some of it when a non-comment after being ambushed by reporters, Kylie Jenner's bodyguard Tim Chung has issued a statement on his Instagram denying the rumours that he - not Travis Scott - is the father of the child.
In a post on his profile - which he'd previously deactivated - Chung says that he is "very private person and would normally never answer to gossip and stories that are so ridiculous that they are laughable."
"Out of deep respect for Kylie, Travis, their daughter together and their families, I would like to set the record straight and say that my interactions with Kylie and her family have been limited in strictly a professional capacity only. ‘There is no story here and I ask that the media no longer include me in any narrative that is incredibly disrespectful to their family."
For their part, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have said nothing on the subject and neither has anyone else. Chung previously mumbled something along the lines of refusing to say he was the father when ambushed outside a club in California by TMZ and a gaggle of reporters, and deactivating his Instagram only seemed to throw fuel on the rumour fire / mill / whatever. On top of that, there were also rumours that Travis Scott's mother demanded he take a paternity test to ensure he was the father, not Chung.
If this all seems like a plotline from Empire or some other cheesy AF soap opera, you're not alone.
