Well thank God for that; Robert Pattinson won't be assuming the life of a hermit any time soon, you'll be glad to know. He's not letting that little director's temptress get him down any longer and shall continue with his promotion of his latest flick Cosmopolis as it hits US theatres this month.
Since being left 'heartbroken' after Kristen Stewart had her wicked way with director Rupert Sanders, (OK, we don't know for sure that they went ALL the way but there was definite spooning involved. Click here for clarification) Pattinson fled to his pal Reese Witherspoon's holiday ranch in California and we (perhaps just I) worried we'd never see him again. But given how quickly things move in the land of 'slebville, it only took two weeks for Pattinson to come back to life. In what I imagine will be one of the most watched interviews of the year so far, the Twilight star will join the hosts of Good Morning America on August 15th for his first post-Kristen press work. I for one cannot WAIT. Will they be allowed to ask about the whole debacle? Highly doubtful given that he's there to promote the movie and not the sex life of his skanky ex-girlfriend. Then again, it's also been confirmed that he'll be attending the NYC premiere for Cosmopolis two days prior so you can rest assured some red carpet eejit will go straight for the jugular with an affair related question, no doubt giving us some juice to mull over.
What's more? Kristen Stewart has been banned from attending the premiere for fear that this would cause some unwanted drama. Awh man, fingers crossed she'll still turn up. She's already shown signs of extreme melodrama with her 'I love Rob, I LOVE HIM!!!' public apology so it's no stretch of the imagination to envision her crawling on the red carpet begging for forgiveness with the whole world watching.
A source says "The decision was made because Robert just doesn't want to see her... There were fears that she could use it as a chance to talk to him in person and that sort of drama is not wanted at the premiere." Yes, I think you'll find it is.
