Sometimes we look at the Kardashians and think to ourselves, why aren't we so rich?
We're not on reality TV (we should be though, imagine how entertaining that would be) so we can't launch a mobile game off the back of our "celebrity" reputation, but Kim Kardashian has, and she did earlier this year, much to the chagrin of the entire internet.
People laughed, people said it was stupid, and a lot of people said it was the final nail in the coffin of humanity, but the joke is on you, us and everyone else because Kim Kardashian: Hollywood has made a big, stinking pile of money for her and the company who published it.
Glu Mobile are the people who made the game, and they released a breakdown of their earnings showing that the game has made them a whopping $43 million, and more than half of their total earnings in the last quarter.

The game only came out in June, it should be added, and it makes money by getting users to buy things in-game, a model which is clearly working pretty well, and has drawn similarities to Candy Crush. They are, unfortunately behind their estimates however as the company predicted that it could make them up to $200 million by the end of the year, but there's still time, sure the Christmas is just around the corner.
Of course, this is just adding another money pile to her already existing money pile which she has somehow earned despite the majority of the human race being puzzled by her very existence. It would be nice to be rich like her, but just because we're not rich doesn't mean we don't have...ohhh we can't even finish that sentence.
