Just when you thought Kim Kardashian and Kanye's West's pregnancy couldn't get any more, well, extravagant, they go an unveil a nude sculpture of the mum-to-be, and claim she represents 'L.A. Fertility'. *rolls eyes*

Artist Daniel Edwards is the one to blame for the err, artwork, which portrays the reality TV star in the late stages of her pregnancy. Publicist Cory Allen says that her rather voluminous pregnant belly is "designed to entice visitors to give a respectful rub for good luck and success". Well, they ain't payin him for nothin...

Edwards isn't a newcome to the preggers 'sleb sculpture scene. His first sculpture (of a naked Britney Spears giving birth on a bearskin rug) caused quite the hullabaloo, and Kim is juts the latest addition to his line of Celebrity Baby Boomers.

"I was inspired by the beauty of Kim Kardashian and felt quite put-off by the media's criticism of her weight gain during pregnancy", the artist explained. "Such criticism should be off limits." And of course publicist Cory wasn't too far behind him: "We live in a media-absorbed culture where anyone can access and share a celebrity's most intimate moments. Daniel visually captures 'that' intimacy."

Other works in the exhibit will include bronzes of Kim and Kanye's baby, depicted as a chubby-cheek-cherub with a swirl design pattern shaved in the hair and pregnant Duchess Catherine and Prince William's baby, sleeping peacefully in the crown Queen Elizabeth wore as a princess.

Because a sculpture series on display in the LAB ART Gallery in Los Angeles will do so much to keep your intimate moments intimate... *waggles eyebrows*
