Kim Kardashian has graced yet another magazine cover; this time, it's for GQ, for which she discusses all things Kanye Vs Taylor Swift (although Tay's a little busy swapping boyfriends right now to paid heed to her on-off feud with Kim's rapper husband), Caitlyn Jenner and more.
The interview opens with some apparently necessary boob touching initiated by Kim of course, as you do, about which Kim says: “Even though I'm an ass girl, Kanye always says my boobs don't get as much credit as they deserve."
Then there's lots to read but you'll probably be a bit distracted by the photoshoot because as we're all well familiar with by now, Kim doesn't exactly do magazine covers by half. There's lots of bum shots and perhaps for those who question their authenticity (whether they're real or fake), there's plenty of nipple action in there too. She doesn't care, she loves her body and if we don't want to look at it, we don't have to.
On her relationship with Kanye that only seems to be going from strength to strength, Kim says: “All my friends and my sisters say, ‘You guys are so perfect for each other. There's no one that would want to sit in your closet for hours with you and try on clothes.’ ” She also has no issue with what others would describe as derogatory language used in her husband's lyrics: I never once think, [gasping] ‘What a derogatory word! How dare he?’ Not in a million years."
On him rapping about having sex with other women, she says: “That doesn't bother me at all,” she answers with a laugh so winning even the Russian judge would give her a 10 out of 10. “I'm usually sitting there in the studio when he's writing it. I'm not offended. I could care less.”
On the subject of Caitlyn Jenner she recalls the time she walked in on Bruce dressed in women's clothes when she was just 21, “and I went over to Kourtney's, and Kourtney was the only person that I told. We had no idea what it meant. So we went and Googled stories and found this, like,Oprah episode of this girl who had gone through a transition. But we still didn't know a lot. " When the time came, they versed themselves in all things transgender: "We did meet with someone a few times when Caitlyn was—[when] that was what was going to happen. A counselor that taught us terminology explained things to us.”
Lastly, on the infamous feud between Taylor and Kanye, Kim rushes to the defense of her husband: “She totally approved that,” Kim says, of Kanye's story that he rang Taylor to run her by his 'I made that bitch famous' lyrics in 'Famous'. “She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn't. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved... What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”
Taylor, Kim says with fervour, “totally gave the okay. Rick Rubin was there. So many respected people in the music business heard that [conversation] and knew. I mean, he's called me a bitch in his songs. That's just, like, what they say. I don't know why she just, you know, flipped all of a sudden.… It was funny because [on the call with Kanye, Taylor] said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I'm so against this, and I'll just laugh and say, ‘The joke's on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time.’ And I'm like, wait, but [in] your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again.”
Well we guess the feud's far from over. To read the full interview and have a gawk at the photos, head over yonder.
