Okay, we'll be honest. This is not what we expected of Kanye so we're hoping this is just a show engagement ceremony to keep Kris Jenner happy because really Kanye? A football baseball (yeah, we know our sport...) stadium with a flashing billboard and a giant orchestra? That's tacky on a whole 'nutha level. So we're just going to tell ourselves you did it privately in Paris and it was romantic and quiet and sincere, not this obnoxious, glaring stunt that reeks of made for TV .
According to E!, who as owners and broadcasters of Keeping Up With The Kardashians are the closest thing to a confirmed source when it comes to all things Karblobian, Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in San Francisco's AT&T Park, which he rented out for the occasion, aided by the field's jumbo screen, which flashed the sign, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" (in case Kim didn't get what was going on) and a 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey's 'Young and Beautiful' followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's 'Knock You Down'. Not at all vain.
And if that wasn't enough, there were fireworks and roman candles and all the glitz that you'd associate with a Kris Jenner production for TV. Kim had been brought to the stadium under the guise of it being a birthday surprise as Kanye had been in LA, which of course he returned from to go down on one knee, and her nearest and dearest hid in the stadium dugouts until Kim said yes.
So here we go. Again. Countless months of speculation and 'news' about another Kim Kardashian wedding. Can you tell how excited we are?
