Khloe Kardashian has sold her former marital home to newlywed Kaley Cuoco. Best get the sage and the lighter out fairly lively, Kaley.
Khloe, who filed for divorce from her husband of four years, Lamar Odom, in December following allegations he had a drug problem and cheated on her multiple times, has offloaded their sprawling property in Tarzana, California for the princely sum of $5.49 million.
A source told TMZ that Khloe is now looking for a new home in the secluded Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old and her 34-year-old estranged husband originally listed the 8,000 square-foot house for $4 million, but The Big Bang Theory actress and her new husband, Ryan Sweeting, were forced to significantly raise their offer to secure the coveted property, which is located within one of the area's most exclusive gated communities.
Khloe and basketball player Lamar only put the seven-bedroom property, which they bought shortly after they tied the knot in 2009 for $3.95 million, on the open market two weeks ago.
The reality star recently admitted she is looking forward to a "fresh start" following their split, saying: "I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life."
Profit from the gaff is a nice bonus too.
