In the best story we think we've heard about a celeb all week, it turns out Kevin Bacon bribes DJs not to play 'Footloose' at weddings.
The 55-year-old actor is famous for his role as Ren McCormack in the cult 1984 movie, in which dancing and rock music are banned in a small town, but he hates to hear even single note of Kenny Loggins' famous song of the same name.
He especially doesn't like it played at weddings he attends because it makes him cringe that people might expect him to recreate his dance scenes.
During an appearance on 'Conan', Kevin revealed: 'I go to the disc jockey and hand him $20 and say, 'Please don't play that song.' Because a wedding is really not about me it's about the bride and groom and it's embarrassing.'
Bacon went on to describe a situation where the opening bars of 'Footloose' were played at a wedding and a gaggle of expectant guests started to clap for a performance.
He added: 'It's awful. Just awful. I try to avoid that if possible.'
Bacon - who is married to actress Kyra Sedgwick - appeared in 'Footloose' when he was 25 but he has never been able to escape the role that catapulted him to fame.
