We already knew Kerry was full of spectacular views, as well as other amazing scenery, pubs and activities, so it's no surprise that the Kingdom has come in high on Lonely Planet's Best in Europe 2015 list.
Celebrated as one of "the most compelling destinations on the continent", Kerry placed second on the travel guide's list, pipped to the top spot by Kent in England. "Perfect for children (and adults) with a sense of adventure", the county's stunning and almost mythic landscapes were lauded by Lonely Planet, who said: "Mysterious islands off a craggy coastline; mist-wreathed mountains and lakes; castles, abbeys and other ruins to explore… no wonder County Kerry appeals to the imagination of travellers of all ages".
Fungie the dolphin also gets a mention, as does its hometown of Dingle, the Ring of Kerry, visiting the Blasket Islands, Killarney National Park and more.
And not a Jedi knight in sight.
