Duchess Catherine, formerly Kate Middleton, gave birth to a daughter this morning shortly after 8.30AM.
The daughter, who will be a Princess of Wales, is said to weigh 8lbs. 3oz, with Prince William present when she was born.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am.

Already, tributes have been pouring in, with the HMS Lancaster announcing the birth via an unusual method.
