There's heartache in the Kardashian household this week after Scott Disick's mother, Bonnie Disick, has died.

The reformed asshat of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, who has two children, Mason and Penelope with long-term girlfriend Kourtney, is reportedly devastated after his mother, 63, passed away on October 28 after a long illness, and attended a small funeral in New York on October 30.

According to RadarOnline.com: 'Scott was very close to his mother.'

30-year-old Scott, who is an only child, attended the private wake with Kourtney in Eastport, Long Island.

'It was a small affair.' said someone 'in the know'. 'There was just a handful of people. No other Kardashians beyond Kourtney attended. But the entire family is saddened with the news of Bonnie's passing. They loved her so much.'

Scott, who has not commented on his mother's death, previously opened up about his fear of people dying on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' after meeting a woman, Josie, with cancer.

He said: 'You know I'm not good about talking about death, I don't know that I want to be around someone who is dying.'

Kourtney helped him to confront his fear and he later said: 'Seeing Josie confront her illness really made me think about my dad - who suffers from diabetes and needs a heart replacement - I really don't talk about it because its so hard for me.'

Bonnie and her husband, Jeff Disick, made an appearance on the E! spin-off show 'Kourtney & Kim Take New York' in 2011.
