The saga of the latest involving Kanye West continues...

Having announced he's running for President of the United States a few weeks ago, and recently hosting his first campaign rally to significant criticism, Kanye West continues to display erratic behaviour.

According to Page Six, the rapper went on a bizarre Twitter rant which has since been deleted.

In it, he appeared to claim that his wife Kim Kardashian tried to "lock him up."

He wrote: "Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor.

"If I get locked up like Mandela… Ya’ll will know why."

He later added: "Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday."

The rapper had revealed at his recent rally that he and his wife had considered aborting their first daughter, North, before a 'divine intervention' caused her to change her mind.

He also said that "everyone knows the movie get out is about me."

West railed against Kris Jenner, Kim's mother, we well.

He tweeted: "Kriss don’t play with me you and that calmye are not allowed around my children Ya’ll tried to lock me up,”

He later posted a screenshot of what appeared to be a text message to Kris Jenner, writing: "This Ye. You ready to talk now. Or are you still ignoring my calls." Another tweet read: "Kriss and Kim call me now."

Kanye also spoke about his wife appearing in Playboy.

"I put my life on the line for my children that North’s mother would never sell her sex rape.

"I put my life on my God that Norths mom would never photograph her doing playboy and that’s on God. I'm at the ranch... come get me"
