We sure wish Kanye West had made at least one New Year's Resolution - to cool off on his tweeting.
Kanye West only lasted one mere day into 2019 before he began tweeting about his love for US President, Donald Trump.
First off, West posted a rather inspiring piece of advice for his followers as we head into 2019. He posted an encouraging, "Keep moving forward."

So far, so good. The rapper even retweeted a lot of 'Nature is Amazing' posts, like this one. We love a nature post.

Then he went and ruined it. He tweeted, "Trump all day," followed by some dragon emojis.
Trump all day

In case you've forgotten, Kanye previously said in April that he and Trump "are both dragon energy." Whatever that means.
You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.

Getting back to his fresh rant, West went on to say, "They will not program me." He also stated, "Blacks are 90% Democrats That sounds like control to me."
Just so in 2019 you know where I stand

Next, he teased his stake at the US Presidential Election, by tweeting a simple "2024."
We will change the world. God is on my side. I am a Christian. I am a tax payer. I am myself. God is with us.

Kanye West followed that by saying he's keeping his 'MAGA' hat on when he performs "from now on."
From now on I’m performing with my mutherfucking hat on ???
— ye (@kanyewest) January 1, 2019
Finally, West spoke about what that 'MAGA' hat truly represents to him. He said, "One of my favourite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what to do because I’m black."

Pusha T, whose 'Daytona' album West produced last year, recently stated that Kanye West had hung up his 'Make America Great Again' hat.
Let's hope all of this isn't an early indication of the type of stuff to come in 2019.
