Kanye West is expected to avoid any charges over his alleged assault of a paparazzo at LAX airport last week.

West was confronted by one mouthy pap last week as he arrived in Los Angeles and instead of being the cool, calm and collected Kanye we all know, he flipped his lid after said pap wouldn't stop badgering him. Yeezy previously told paparazzi (who was the same one that incited Britney's umbrella attack back in the day) at LAX that he didn't want any of them to talk to him or ask him any questions. Clearly getting a smackdown is the consequence of not listening to his command.

Well now it seems Kanye is going to walk away scot-free, with TMZ saying that according to their sources in the law and police department, he won't be charged with anything. According to them, the District Attorney won't follow through with charges of felony attempted robbery as there's no evidence of West trying to life the camera gear from the downed photographer. Cops expect him to throw the case out without so much as a second look.

Meanwhile Kanye will get to pay off all the other charges brought against him by the paparazzo, including misdemeanor criminal battery, in a 'civil compromise' deal, which apparently happens all the time with the rich and famous.
