OK, so there's a bit of humble bragging in there along the lines of "sure I'm ALWAYS number 1 so I can do without it Christmas Week", but he's still raising awareness and needn't have bothered his hewp. Yes, it's some positive press for him, but let's just cast the cynicism aside for a moment - it is Christmas, after all, etc etc.
