We could sort of appreciate the new ink if Bieber's mom had passed away and this was a way of remembering and honouring her, but to just get her eye tattooed on the inside of his left arm, when she's still alive? That's just weird.
Bieber got the new tattoo in New York courtesy of artist Bang Bang, who seems to be the tattooist of choice these days among celebs having recently inked up Adele, Cara Delevingne and Rihanna. This particular tattoo is his 16th in the last three years, adding to his already elaborate and bizarre tattoo collection. And to add to the creepy, he captioned the picture with '@bangbangnyc did this art ., Mums always watching ;)'
Bieber's mum Pattie Mallette supports him blindly and thinks the media sensationalise his behaviour, which she thinks is only normal and that their bond is more important. 'He had his whole childhood where we were just together, and he didn't start his other crazy life until he was a teenager, so we really bonded through just being together. I was on government assistance, working two jobs just to try to put food on the table, and really struggling through to make it. I just did whatever I could do to be the best mum I could be. I think that he values my opinion.'
