The 67-year-old flew in from Florida and is currently staying in one of our most luxurious hotels.
John Travolta has touched down in Ireland this week, flying his own private plane into Shannon Airport in County Clare.
The actor flew in from Florida to the west coast of Ireland for "business" according to an Instagram video he uploaded onto social media. Capturing his journey for his followers, which at the time of writing had been viewed 366K times, Travolta said in the video: "So tonight our flying time from Florida to Shannon is seven hours and four minutes, just so everybody knows. And I'll see you... I'll film when we arrive."
And arrive he did - John Travolta will be living it up while in Ireland, as it looks like he'll be staying in the 5-Star Dromoland Castle in County Clare. Prices at the luxurious resort start at €450 per night (there's also The Brian Boru Suite which is €1,400 per night).
Travolta ended his video by saying: "So I've arrived safely in Ireland [...] As the Irish say, 'life is what you make it,' it is, it is."
So, what "business" could John Travolta be in Ireland for? It could potentially be for a new acting gig, following hot on the heels of many productions that took up shop around the country last year. However, it could be something else entirely.
Travolta also expressed his thanks to fans who have been supporting his daughter, Ella, and her new single. 'Dizzy' was released earlier this month and is believed to be part of the 21-year-old's upcoming debut EP under the name Ella Bleu. Ella seems to be following in her father's musical footsteps, as Travolta first released his debut track 'Let Her In' when he was 22.
