Her beloved dog, the one which ex-husband Nick Lachey gave to her on their reality show as a mark of their "undying love", was abducted by a swift and mysterious stranger on Monday night.
Since the dognapping, Jessica has been praying and putting up posters around the neighbourhood, hoping for Daisy's safe and timely return. She's even enlisted the help of a "lost dog-finding service called FindToto.com."
As the days pass, Jessica is becoming more and more frustrated with those around her, posting messages such as this on Twitter: "Still holding out hope despite the assholes that say is it a dumb thing to do. Daisy is my baby... why would I stop searching? I'm a mom."
Yeah, would Ashlee let little Bronx Mowgli get snatched by a wild coyote in the street? Probably not (and, if anything, he'd be able to put up a good fight given he sounds half monkey boy). Indeed, this does not bode well for the future of any human babies Jessica might be blessed with.
Indeed, Jessica's 'Malti-Poo' dog Daisy was stolen, and presumably savaged, by a coyote. According to TMZ: "So far, we're told Jess' peeps have only received one tip - but it was about a pit bull..." But that's no reason to give up hope of her being found safe and well... *tumbleweeds*
