The Hollywood star and her husband Cooke Maroney are expecting.
Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her first child. A number of news outlets confirmed the joyous news late last night.
Jennifer, 31, and Cooke, 37, began dating in 2018, and married in 2019 at a ceremony in Rhode Island. The couple has remained relatively low-key in the public eye ever since their wedding.
Jennifer does not post on social media and has not spoken publicly about her pregnancy just yet, but representatives of the actor have confirmed the baby news with numerous sources.
While promoting 'Mother' in 2017, the actor was asked by E! if "the pangs of motherhood" was on her mind. She replied in trademark J-Law fashion: "Not at all. They are actually getting less and less as I get older, which is starting to worry me. I don't think that's how it's supposed to work!
"When I was 21 or 22 I was like, 'I can't wait to be a mother. Now I'm like... [shocked face]."
With Jennifer Lawrence off of social media, fans have taken it upon themselves to share their happiness for the actor.
Jennifer Lawrence has also remained out of the acting circle since 2019. Her most recent release was 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix', which was the final Fox movie based on the superhero franchise where she played the role of Mystique.
After the brief career break, Jennifer will be back on our screens for her newest film later this year. Hitting cinemas and Netflix this Christmas, the first trailer for 'Don't Look Up' with Leonardo DiCaprio was released yesterday. They'll be joined by quite the ensemble cast of Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Tyler Perry and plenty more from 'Anchorman' and 'The Big Short' director Adam McKay.
