Hi Jay Z, meet Kanye West. You don't appear to have met before...
The 44-year-old rapper has reportedly turned his back on his former friend after West assumed his marriage to Beyonce was on the rocks following that wee public altercation involving her sister Solange last month. And the resulting "infidelity" rumours didn't help.
A source told the Daily Star: "Jay thought it was laughable that Kanye was trying to give him tips when he's only been hitched two minutes. His jaw dropped to the ground when he got the call. Kanye said he thinks Jay needs to stay focused on his marriage, ignore the negativity surrounding them right now and told him to 'take care of business'. Despite the fact Jay agreed with the sentiment, he thought it was ridiculous that Kanye was trying to act like he knew it all." Again, Jay Z, this is Kanye, etc. etc.
Rumours the rappers, who had previously collaborated on their 'Watch The Throne' album in 2011, had fallen out began to swirl when the 99 Problems hitmaker failed to show up at Kanye's wedding to Kim in Florence on May 25th.
There's also the small matter of Kanye seemingly dropping Jay's name from three different tracks during his appearance at Austin's X Music festival over the weekend.
Beyonce's no doubt thrilled. Hanging out with Kim that few times back in the summer of 2012 was probably enough for a lifetime.
