Jason Momoa and his wife Lisa Bonet have split after sixteen years together.
The news was shared on Jason Momoa's official Instagram account @prideofgypsies.
The 'Aquaman' star and Bonet released a joint statement.
It reads: "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times…
"A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.
"And so~ We share our Family news~That we are parting ways in marriage."
The statement continues: "We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.
"The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived.
"We free each other ~to be who we are learning to become… Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet met and started dating in 2005 before the former shot to fame on 'Game of Thrones'.
They got married in late 2017. They have a son, Nakoa-Wolf, and daughter, Lola, together.
Lisa Bonet is renowned for playing one of Bill Cosby's daughters on 'The Cosby Show' and its spinoff, 'A Different World'.
She was previously married to rock star Lenny Kravitz. Jason Momoa helped raise Lenny and Lisa's daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz.
