Jamie Foxx is out of hospital and thankfully on the mend following his 'medical complication' earlier this year.
The 'Ray' actor recently took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and pay tribute to his family members who supported him and protected him during that difficult time.
However, Foxx posted a strange follow-up to Instagram in recent days that slammed "fake friends" - and it has snowballed into an antisemetic furore that Jennifer Aniston has somehow become embroiled in.
In his now-deleted post, Foxx wrote "They killed this dude name Jesus… What do you think they’ll do to you???! #Fakefriends #Fakelove."
Many took his comments to be antisemetic, and when someone spotted that Jennifer Aniston had 'liked' the post, Instagram users piled onto the 'Friends' actress - so much so, that she had to turn off comments on her posts.
She later distanced herself from the post, denying that she had 'liked' it.
"This really makes me sick. I did not “like” this post on purpose or by accident," she said. "And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their feeds – I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. And I truly don’t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period."
However, the story took another twist when Foxx once again took to Instagram to clarify his remarks, saying "I want to apologize to the Jewish community and everyone who was offended by my post. I now know my choice of words have caused offense and I’m sorry. That was never my intent.
'To clarify, I was betrayed by a fake friend and that’s what I meant with “they” not anything more. I only have love in my heart for everyone. I love and support the Jewish community. My deepest apologies to anyone who was offended. Nothing but love always."
Many of Foxx's fans are now declaring that Aniston owes him an apology.
