It's safe to say that Jake Gyllenhall has almost been as busy as ex Taylor Swift this week...
Just taking a minute to imagine the state of Taylor Swift’s drafts right now

Between the painful Spanish cookery show, being beaten at the hands of Jimmy Fallon, and then having to endure an interview with 'shock jock' Howard Stern, Jake must be exhausted. That didn't stop him from being the consummate gentleman when probed about his relationship with Swift, despite them splitting back in 2011.
According to Uproxx, Stern reportedly went out of his way to bait Gyllenhall, saying he personally would've jumped at the chance to marry her: "Because to me, nothing is sexier than a woman who can play songs and write." Gyllenhall's response was simply she's a "beautiful girl."
When Stern then pressed him regarding being interviewed on Good Morning America when Taylor's Bad Blood played as a bed, he laughed: "First of all, I did not hear that. When I’m doing an interview, when you are up at 5 a.m. and you can’t make sense of words, you’re not thinking about the background music that’s playing behind you.”
When Stern inferred that the producers were “up to shenanigans” and purposefully chose the song to “make some sort of association", Jake - forever the diplomat - said: "I'm sure they have so much music on that show playing all the time. It;s just one of those things."
Speaking of just "one of those things", you may or may not be aware that Swift has apologised to Nicki Minaj after their twitter "misunderstanding" over their respective VMA nominations...
I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ
