One of the most gobsmacking stories to break in recent days has been the fact that Jack Keating has revealed that he has become a father.
Not because the 'Love Island' star had not revealed that he was an expectant father, or that he is not in a relationship with the child's mother, or that he may have appeared on the dating show after she was conceived - but because Ronan Keating is a grandad now, and that makes us feel old as hell.
Boyzone star Keating belatedly celebrated his 46th birthday over the weekend and was joined by his family, including his eldest son, 23-year-old Jack, at a fancy London restaurant - the first time that the youngster has been seen since revealing his big news.
Jack, meanwhile, has revealed that while he is not in a relationship with his new daughter's mother Keely Iqbal, he is 'co-parenting' with his ex-girlfriend.
He released a statement saying: "I am delighted to announce the birth of my little girl.
"Her mother and I have decided to keep her identity private for now and we ask everyone to please respect our privacy at this time. My daughter's mother and I are not together, however we look forward to co-parenting and giving our little girl the best support system that she needs.
"This is an exciting new chapter for me and my family and I am completely besotted already. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a father and give my daughter the most amazing life."
