Be warned – fans of the world's most famous wizard may want to mentally prepare themselves before reading this latest.
J.K. Rowling, the mind who brought Harry and Hogwarts to life has said that she is ‘done’ writing the saga of the ‘boy who lived’.
At a gala on Sunday for the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the critically acclaimed play which has now been released in book format, author Rowling said this publication marks the final chapter of this character’s journey.
She told Reuters: ‘He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done. This is the next generation, you know. So I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now.’
Could this mean the end of Harry’s story AND that of the wizarding world? Or is there a possibility that Rowling will follow alternative characters in the universe? Let us know what you think.
