Dublin donut chain Aungier Danger are closing down.
Posting a statement on their Instagram, the donut shop said that they were "hanging up their apron" with a full statement to follow. Here's the post in question.
Previously, it was reported by The Journal that the company behind the donut chain was headed for liquidation, however owner Phil Costello was bullish about its future prospects and said that the chain "wasn't going anywhere." Both the George's Street outlet and the Merrion Row outlet were closed for extended periods of time, the Merrion Row outlet shuttering some time after its opening.
No statement has been given so far on the reason for Aungier Danger's closure currently.
