An Irish teenager who was doing his best to get in to a nightclub on Australia's Gold Coast was arrested earlier this week, after emergency services had to be called to rescue him from an air vent.
The teen, who has not been named, became stuck in the vent after he had been refused entry to the club Surfers Paradise, located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, and decided that he'd try to gain access through another route.
All didn't go to plan however as he became lodged in the air vent that he tried to sneak in through, and police were called to the scene at about 1.30 am. A police statement on the matter said that he was trying to gain unauthorised access to the building, and as a result "damage was caused to a glass door and the plaster board of the roof during the incident. Emergency services attended to free him, before he was arrested by police"
He will appear before the Southport Magistrates Court this morning and is set to be charged with entering a premises after being refused entry, attempting to enter a premises after being refused entry, wilful damage and trespass.
