Fans of the Irish team who are attending tomorrow's game against Scotland have mounted a campaign against John Delaney, and will fly a banner above the Aviva tomorrow calling for his resignation.
Delaney has come under increasing pressure in the last two weeks or so after it emerged that the FAI received a sum of money from FIFA following the famous Thierry Henry handball incident during the World Cup 2010 playoff with France in Paris.
The group of supporters behind the movement have spoken to Balls.ie to outline that their frustrations go far beyond this payment, and that the association has let them down time and time again on various fronts. In a detailed post they explain that there have been ticketing problems with the previous game against Scotland, the League of Ireland is extremely underfunded and that they have been treated poorly and in a heavy handed manner by security at the grounds when they've tried to make a protest before.

They also added that they've had overwhelming support from fans to fly the banner, but in order to keep the focus on the match and to get behind the team during a crunch game, the banner will pass overhead in advance of the kick off tomorrow afternoon and again at half time.
The group comprises a number of supporters who have travelled far and wide to support the national team, attending nearly 500 away games between them. The payment "fiasco" is the final straw for them, and they have been moved to take some form of action so that they can protest the current leadership of the association.
The banner will read "€NOUGH IS €NOUGH - #DELANEYOUT" and they have stated that they received donations from fans all over Ireland as well as angry supporters abroad in America, Australia, the UK, Canada and the UAE.
