There is now a Roddy Doyle’s Star Trek Facebook page which includes a series of images from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine with added thought and speech bubbles. The page has been active for just over a week.
Irish actor Colm Meaney played Miles O'Brien in the Star Trek series, and is also renowned for playing the Irish patriarch in all three film adaptations of Roddy Doyle's The Barrytown Trilogy (The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van).
