Paddy's Day isn't as easy a day to navigate as it should be, what with public transport on weird timetables and routes, and the rest of the country generally milling about looking for something to do, so to prepare you for the big day, here's a few pointers to make sure your Lá Féile Padhraig goes as smoothly as possible.
Line the stomach with a good aul fry. You’ll be out for the day and you’ll want to avoid having to buy food anywhere because the queues will be massive.
Get all festive with green face paint, your clovers and some novelty snakes Sure even Penney’s are selling shamrock shades and bright green wigs, so you can manage festivity even if you’re on a budget.
Sunglasses to shade the pale Irish flesh on display. You can choose the shamrock ones above, or your own, but with the day that it is, regardless of the weather, there’s going to be some pasty skin out somewhere, so you’ll want to be shielding your eyes.
