Dominic Monaghan has described kissing Megan Fox as "alright." She was probably trying to talk drivel at the time. I, for one, would like to commend Dominic for attempting to shut her up with his mouth - although he was being paid to do it.

To recap: the actor features alongside Fox, 24, in Eminem and Rihanna's video for new single Love The Way You Lie. Which makes total sense. And despite the fact that Monaghan gets hot and heavy with the married Transformers star in the clip, he said it was just "work".

When asked what it was like kissing Fox, the FlashForward fellah, 33, told MTV News: "It's alright, no I'm just kidding. It's fine, it's work. She's married. I have a lot of respect for marriage... (and the sheer physical size of David Silver) I said to her 'Look, I know that you're married and I don't want to do anything inappropriate' and she said, 'It's all kind of inappropriate, huh?'"

Amazing, a glimmer of sense from the Fox. Indeed, the whole thing is kind of inappropriate. As mentioned before, we've got the hobbit and the fox reinacting an abusive relationship for a song sung by Rihanna (we all know the story involving her and devil features), and Eminem, who enjoyed a very healthy relationship with his ex-wife Kim, if memory serves...

OK, it's good that they're highlighting the issue of physical abuse in relationships, but why use the combination of Dominic Monaghan and Megan Fox? Two unknowns would've been more believable. Or just two better actors.

But even more pertinent than that is the perpetuation of the notion that women of Megan's asthetic calibre would entertain the advances of those resembling the likes of Dominic Monaghan (yeah, I know he was with Evangeline Lily for a spell but she soon saw sense). Speaking of resemblances; I know it's a bit blurry, but Megan's starting to resemble a pencil in a hefty hairpiece - which is never appropriate.
