Hipsters are everywhere these days, and it seems that even the police are getting in on the act.
Photographer Guy Smallman attended an English Defence League protest on the weekend, expecting to get pictures of the protest and possible confrontations between police and the protesters. However, he snapped one picture of a cop whose beard was a sight to behold, and ended up going viral, as people dubbed him 'Hipster cop'.

The policeman has yet to be identified (and unless he shaves his beard he should be easy enough to spot) while Smallman tweeted that hipster cop was funny and all, but thousands of pounds "of our money wasted protecting 65 racists & everyone is talking about 1 plod's beard", which slightly missed the point of why he was there taking photos in the first place.
