For those that watched the UFC's return to Dublin last weekend, and apparently there were a whole lot of you, we're assuming the MMA bug has firmly bitten you.
While Conor McGregor is now scheduled to fight Dustin Poirier on September 27th in the co-main event of UFC 178 in Las Vegas, the main event that night was to be for the Light Heavyweight title between champ Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson. But Gustafsson was injured in training, and now highly fancied Olympic wrestler turned top UFC contender Daniel Cormier has taken his place. Cue hilarious non-exchange on Twitter.
Cormier is 15-0 in his career, while Jones is considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport at 20-1 (a no contest, so not strictly a loss).
We're very much looking forward to all the fights on this card.
