Nashville's Hayden Panetierre has put her wedding plans on hold because of the growing turmoil in Ukraine. You're probably thinking that's the worst excuse for putting a wedding on hold. Surely she should just cancel the thing if she's using geo-politics to postpone a wedding, right? WRONG.
Hayden Panetierre is getting married to professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko whose brother, Vitali Klitschko is one of the leading figures in the Ukrainian resistance movement. The Klitschko brothers are known throughout Ukraine as folk heroes and Vitali has been active in politics since 2006.
So, y'know, it's not just a cop-out answer. It actually is a thing. Good for them. We're still waiting on that Heroes reboot series, though.
