Trinny Woodall decided to channel her inner Katie Hopkins yesterday in a quest for attention. Well, how else does someone who's not been on telly in ages celebrate turning 50.
As you can see, Trinny is now dating Nigella Lawson's ex-husband, Charles Saatchi - because he's such a catch. Therefore, we're not sure what universe the following blog post would be appropriate, as it doesn't paint anyone involved in the best of shades. To mark her 50th birthday, she wrote:
"It's great that, at 50, life can still grab you by the throat and shake you up. And it's even better when you've learned to cope with whatever's thrown at you - so long as it isn't a bedside lamp."
Ooooookaaay. Bit bizarre. Read into that what you may.
Trinny felt compelled to add: "If you used to like showing your cleavage, just be aware your skin probably looks like old chammy leather now. So wear something round-necked. You can still show off your shape." This only lead to further speculation that she was having a dig at Nigella.
Then Nigella decided to put all our questions to rest, by tweeting this subtle nugget:
She then obviously kacked herself a little bit, before adding:
Nigella married wealthy art dealer Charles in 2003 but they divorced seven weeks after those photos emerged of him with his "playful" hand around her neck in 2013.
The break-down of their marriage was played out in public during the trial of her former aides Elisabetta and Francesca Grillo, who were acquitted of fraud last year, where Nigella was forced to admit she had used cocaine and marijuana in the past.
