It was only a few months ago that Hailee Steinfeld and Niall Horan seemed to be very much in love, although in fairness they tried to to keep their relationship very private, but not on our watch! *Evil laugh*.

The couple broke up in December after dating for almost a year. According to sources they really tried to make it work but their conflicting schedules proved too difficult. Now Steinfeld has come under fire for a recent tweet which seemed to indirectly imply Niall Horan was a narcissist.

In fairness, she didn't say this, the 'Bumblebee' star simply replied to a message in which singer-songwriter Julia Michaels said: "New Years Resolution: No more dating narcissists" by saying: "God bless you @juliamichaels. Preach it."

Fans then went into overdrive questioning if Steinfeld was taking aim at Niall Horan but she since tweeted to deny this:
