Last week brought the revelation that Gwyneth Paltrow would have to testify in the lawsuit that is being brought against her.
Still, nobody could have realised how juicy - or ridiculous - it would actually be.
Paltrow is being sued by retired optometrist `Terry Sanderson, who claims that the actress skiied into him, causing serious injury in an accident in Utah in 2016.
In response, Paltrow says that he was the one who skiied into her, and is countersuing him for a symbolic $1.
The last few days have seen Paltrow's testimony take a bizarre turn, as she has been quizzed on matters such as whether she is friends with Taylor Swift (who also countersued for $1 in a lawsuit several years ago), while the 'fangirl' approach by Sanderson's lawyer has been compared to Elle Woods in 'Legally Blonde'.
