Boys, BOYS, boys - I'm looking for a good time! Boys, BOYS, boys - ah'm lookin' for yoh luuuuuve! Actually *flicks through pics* there wasn't a whole lot in the way of male visual fodder at last night's GQ Awards - bar Take That, of course. There was also Jenson Button (if you're into that sorta thing), and, eh, Ross Kemp. Guy Ritchie scrubbed up well, while Mickey Rourke brought something for everyone (namely a model 26 years his junior who goes by the name Elena). As usual, it was the laydeeeeez that stole the show - in an array of monochrome/grey metallic mini dresses, with many schizophrenic stripes. No, seriously, everybody was wearing them (Pixie Lott; Louise Redknapp; Mickey Rourke's randomer; yer wan Tamara Eccleston; and to a lesser extent Frieda Pinto and Daisy Lowe). Then there were those who had their metallics coloured; namely Jenson Button's missus (who got it right) and Katherine Jenkins (who looked like the caramel and whole hazelnut chocolate that comes in your average box of Roses). There was also the usual amount of transparency on show, with Alexandra Burke opting for a monochrome AND stripped ensemble which just so happened to partially show her hoop, while Lily Allen made no bones about blatantly whipping her pants out. Elsewhere, Kelly Brook's waist did it's best Disney cartoon princess impression while encased in Laura Ashley wallpaper; Eva Mendes thought she was off to the Oscars; and Gemma Arterton gave Yoko Ono a run for her money. Then there were those who fell into the realm of Meh: Kelly Osbourne; Rachel Stevens (although I've a slight horn for her shoes); Natalie Imbruglia; Little Boots; and the bizarre coupling of Melanie Blatt and Jamie Winstone (AKA Roots Manouvre).
