Did you manage to grab yourself some beauty products before the hour was up? Or, like us, did you only see the chaos on Twitter after the hour was up?
In case you weren't aware, you missed the drop. Glossier, the one-stop-shop for everything beauty-related sent the internet into meltdown earlier today.
The website sent out an email with a promotional code which worked on the website for a limited amount of time, allowing customers to get themselves a hefty 50% off all of their products. They don't do this very often, so it was quite the big deal.
Some people who were not the lucky few, were already on their way to the checkout when the offer expired (or the mistake was fixed), meaning their products went back up to full price.
