After we were getting our hopes up that the Indian summer might last a few more days, it looks like there's plenty of rain headed our way today.
Several areas have been given a rainfall warning today as Met Éireann warned that heavy rain was headed towards "much of Munster, Leinster and east Ulster, and with a risk of localized flooding" in some of those areas.
They are predicting that between 25-40mm could fall in a matter of hours during the afternoon, and judging by their radar images, things look like they may well be a bit unpleasant today.
Temperatures won't drop too much however, as they are still predicting around 15-17°C for the day, despite all that rain that they predict will be coming our way.
