Sure why would you be holidaying anywhere else?
Readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine have had their say, and they've named four Irish hotels in the list of Europe's best hotels. Here's the top 10.
1. Canaves Oia Santorini, Thera, Santorini, Greece
2. Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, Co. Clare
3. Perivolas, Oia, Santorini, Greece
4. Ashford Castle, Co. Mayo
5. The Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, UK
6. Badrutt's Palace, St. Moritz, Switzerland
7. Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, Hampshire, UK
8. Powerscourt Hotel, Co. Wicklow
9. Sheen Falls Lodge, Co. Kerry
10. The Dolder Grand, Zurich, Switzerland
But there's no drop off outside the top 10, seeing as we're home to another four in the top 20, and one more if you stretch the list out to 30, with the K Club (No.11), Dromoland Castle (No.12), Adare Manor (No.16) , Mount Juliet (No.18), and Aghadoe Heights (No.25) all making the list.
The magazine publishes these results every October, and making the list is a pretty prestigious award, seeing as over 128,000 travel readers take part in the voting.
