The rumour mill had been rumbling (much like it does whenever one of her multiple phantom pregnancies are announced) after the 45-year-old actress, who got engaged to The Leftovers star Justin Theroux in August 2012, was spotted out without her eight-carat radiant cut diamond sparkler in Los Angeles yesterday. Everyone presumed the obvious - that herself and Justin split.
So relentless were the rumours that Jennifer's spokesperson had to release something of a statement to E! News. It went a little something like this: "Everyone should calm down - the ring was just being cleaned and is safely back on her hand."
A source close to the couple recently revealed they are quietly planning to tie the knot in New York City in December. The insider said: "It's really happening! (Just like it was last time! And the time after that!!) Jen is excited beyond belief. She says it will be the best day of her life."
Justin, 43, previously confessed he feels a lot of pressure from the public to marry his fiancée, but isn't bothered by it.
He said: "There is this hum of pressure that - I can't stress enough - I just don't pay any attention to... We're just doing our own thing. We are completely happy, obviously, but we're not on anyone else's timeframe."
