Dubai is often described as the youngest city in the world, with many incredible skyscrapers and advancements over other, older cities.
Whether it's the gleaming architecture, the pristine roads or the fact that it's completely common to see Bugatti Veyrons and Tesla Roadsters driving up and down the stretches of road, Dubai has always been a futuristic place.
This, however, is getting ridiculous. A new promotional video released by Dubai Civil Defence shows that firefighters in the city have now been given specialised water-based jetpacks in order to reach difficult locations and places.
As the video shows, it involves using water pressure and someone really, really brave to lift off the ground and fight fires. Our guess it'll only work on bridges or anything near large bodies of water, as it draws on the water to propel the person up.
Take a look.
